Being a super austenitic stainless steel Supernova 350® is suitable for well conditions with CO2, H2S and chlorides and has exceptional corrosion resistance to phosphoric acid. Supernova 350® has superb resistance to pitting and crevice corrosion making it suitable for service in highly corrosive oil and gas environments.
Supernova 350® is a proven alternative to GD35MoTMand Zapp 28.
